Insert permission denied on a custom BBEC table.

A few weeks ago I ran into an issue where a global change was calling a stored procedure that was in turn inserting into a custom table. The issue was that the INSERT permission was denied on a custom table. Now usually with functions we can just add a tag to the properties of the SQL spec like I have shown here.

What I ended up having to do was to grant insert on my table to the BBAPPFXSERVICEROLE. Take a look at the SQL below, it’s what you will have to run to get rid of this little permissions error if you ever come across it.

grant insert on [TABLENAME] to BBAPPFXSERVICEROLE
